I got this tape to wrap some lifepo4 packs I made and it worked great. I've had problems in the past with kapton tape that wasn't very sticky but this stuff is sticky af. It sticks to everything. It has decent release as well but make sure you put it where you want it the first time.This tape is everything you want it to be. Plenty thick and won't tear unless you nick it with a knife first.Best part is it's a couple bucks less expensive that most of the other ones on Amazon. So buy it now and wrap those batteries!

As a professional user of polyimide tape for 30 years, I wholly endorse the use of this product. Time will only tell for me how it lasts under heat conditions (I live in the Arizona heat). I won't be able to utilize this tape as I have in the past (extreme temperatures) since I am now retired. But this tape handles and adheres well. It seems a great value for the money.

In all fairness it does mention 1 mil but that is way too thin. Still, it works great.

Def way better than the cheap laptop tape. Doesn't tear as easily and is much easier to work with

I use this on knife blades when putting them in fixed angle sharpeners to protect the blade from the clamp. works very well

Great adheasion and heat resistance, I used to fasten a glass bed to a heated surface on a 3D Printer works well
