Fantastic tent for the price.
Can't rate this tent enough. If you are on a budget like myself I think this tent is as good as you are going to get for the price. Relatively light so great for backpacking. Good quality build. Has proven to be great in wet windy weather. Very easy to erect and with only a little faff it can be put up outer first. No condensation problems. I would say it would be ok in winter as long as it's not heavy snow. Happy camping.

Brilliant tent for bikepacking, can’t recommend enough
Great tent. Use this for bikepacking, packs down easily and is nice and small. The quickest tent to go up amongst my friends, really straightforward. I’m tall (200cm/6’6) and have no problems, but if you’re taller than me I wouldn’t recommend. I can sleep diagonally, but my shoulder or feet push the inner against the outer if I’m not careful. I can also sleep straight down the middle and I can also just about sit upright comfortably. I wouldn’t want to share with someone else, I’d definitely call this a 1.5 man tent. Holds up well in wind as you can really tighten the guylines, but I’ve not tested it in proper wind. Barely any condensation drip either, the outer stays firmly away from the inner and isn’t falling down on you either. All the pegs and the poles feel good quality, includes a groundsheet too. Shame it’s not a side door, but the entry has a nice big space to store 2 big pannier bags plus other bits. For a ultralight/lightweight and capable tent, you can’t beat the price and is great value for money. Honestly can’t recommend it enough.

I great tent for the price point, with a few things that let it down.
I've now taken this tent out on a test run and i'm really impressed. It held up well to rain and heavy winds (with some extra pegging out of the fly). It's a great quality tent for the price point. Note of course that you need to angle the tent so that the back is facing to the strongest wind. Side on and the tent will buffett a lot more, straining the poles. Great things: * the peg/line points - there are lots, you have a choice depending on your wind situation * lightweight - packs super well, * easy to set up and tear down .. can set the fly up first if need be * stand alone if there's no wind issues * has enough head room to sit up ... I was able to read my book in my camp chair during the winds * the pegs! they're great - best pegs ever.. three sided design, with a 'catch' on each side and a pull string to get them out. very strong - didn't bend one! love them. * the poles - all one piece. * great zips -seemed like they'll last A few things that let this tent down: =============================== ** in the wind, the tent inner is mostly mesh - this is great in the heat, but not in the cold with wind. I was camping in August along Hadrian's Wall, it got down to 11C at night with a strong wind. - While you can peg the fly edges down to the ground on the sides and back, the front vestibule does not peg flush with the ground - there will be a 10+cm gap, and the front inner/door is, insanely, entirely, mesh. - This means the wind blows directly onto your head. Because the door is 100% mesh, with any wind, your tent WILL NOT RETAIN HEAT - and you will be cold. I was able to mitigate this by using my bike panniers to block the windiest side, and assorted other bits of kit to try and block the other. Finally I opened my folding camping chair, and propped it up across the bottom of the door to keep the wind out, and I was able to sleep comfortably . - This could be fixed in 2 ways by the company - #1 - make it so there's no 10+cm gap between the bottom of the front vestibule and the ground - just add some extra fabric or something so you can peg it flush. or - #2 - put an inner nylon door inside or outside the mesh one that you can close to retain heat/stop wind. Arguably, the number one point of a tent, is to keep the elements out, and this door arrangement does not do that. ** there is a single pocket to store essentials - it's small - it's above your head. One or two more on the sides would be a huge benefit for those little things you want to keep track of. ** The single hook in the centre is useful - but one or two more in the corners would be amazing - particularly for hanging things up to dry at night ( you could run a line). ** the poles: all one piece - this is great and convenient.. but I worried, as the winds were buffetting my tent, that if a single part of the pole was compromised, I'd lose them all in one go ? ** the back vent - I like the design, but you can't really open it or close it from the inside. you need to take the stiff little pole thingie off the velcro or stick it on.. which I couldn't manage through a taught-pulled inner.

Great value for money, the navy blue is a wicked colour.
Easy to put up solo, easy to put down solo. Great size and weight to carry. I’m 6’3 and sleeping on my own found it very comfortable with plenty of room. You could fit two people in, but your packs would either have to go in the porch - probably not quite enough room - or i between you when sleeping. Sleeping with it in the Peaks for two nights, it felt sturdy and strong in the wind. It didn’t rain but the seals look well made. I would trust it in far worse conditions. If you’re using it frequently I can see how it might not last forever, but that’s the same for an lightweight tent. For £160-odd, you can’t go wrong.

Great tent for a reasonable price
I had an earlier version that I used as a one man tent becuase I value space over weight. I did try to go to an OEX Bobcat 1 but found that it was only slightly lighter and much less pleasant to be inside. If it was a lot lighter then it would have been a worthwhile compromise but I returned it for this Cloud Up tent and I'm sure I made the right choice. You can probably get better for a lot more cash but for this money it's hard to beat. Edit: I've now had the tent up and I think the upgrades are great. 1. The addition of extra poles at the rear really improves the internal space. It's vast inside 2. The additional wind guy lines really help give the tent shape and stability 3. The connecting unit the holds the poles in place is much more robust. This failed on my old tent but these feel bullet proof. On the bad side other reviews mentioned the zips and I do feel that this is the one place where the quality feels compromised in what is otherwise a very good tent. I'm off for 2 weeks camping now so time v will tell....

Fantactic tent
I've used this for camps across the south coast, across to snowdonia and and to the Yorkshire moors. It's never let me down regardless of weather. Quick and easy to put up and take down, comes with a separate ground sheet to protect the floor, the inside layer is mostly mesh so plenty of ventilation. I would highly recommend!

A steal for that price. Great for 'serious beginners' to hillwalking. Tested in Scotland.
For this price this is an excellent tent. The tent is really well made and at this price range you will not get anything better when you consider the weight/price ratio. This is pretty much the only tent which is below 2kg and will offer some sort of porch for cooking and enough head space for sitting at this price range (I am pretty tall - 186 cm - 6'1''). Of course, the porch and the tent itself is not too big but with a bit of an effort even two adults can sleep in, we even managed to fit all our gear into the porch (it's just a bit of a hassle when you need to go out to pee at night). But you can always just use a big dry bag and leave your rucksack outside of your tent entirely - never had to do it myself though. As for the quality it is pretty well made and I trust it. I wouldn't take it to the strongest winds or snow but for spring/summer times it's perfect - I slept at some pretty high elevations in Cairngorms and all around Western and Northern Scotland in early Spring. You just have to be smart on where to pitch the tent, always look for some shelter or cover from one side as side wind wouldn't do any good for this tent - it's kind of a sail. When it's windy, the tent can be really loud as the outer tends to flap a bit, but the tent can take some heavy beating when pitched properly. The only thing I don't like is that the bottom at the sides is quite high up so the tent is pretty drafty (not ideal for early spring camping at high elevations - the tent can get pretty cold). However, an easy fix is getting two additional pegs and pegging the sides directly to the ground (not using the two pegs which are for the side guylines). This is a perfect tent for those who are new-ish to outdoors but are serious about hillwalking and are looking for a good gear at reasonable price. Honestly, the next level of upgrading this tent is spending at least £300+ pounds on some more 'professional' tents. Great for 'serious beginners'. @Naturehike you can contact me for further cooperation ;)

Good 2 season lightweight tent but drafty - go for one with Skirting!!
This tent is well priced and the materials feel good. However, I tested it in my garden and glad I did as had a couple of issues with this tent so that I had to return it. Firstly the zip jammed every time I opened tent which is a pain (catches on the fabric), particularly when cold and windy. Second, the seams of the fly tent didn't line up to the frame exactly making me think that it could over time rip in extreme winds. I tried to adjust couple of times and still couldn't get aligned exactly. Also, if I would purchase again, I would definitely go for the one with the skirting round the outside, the popular one without is very drafty! My gut feel is that you get what you pay for with this tent and the lightweight and price comes at a price of quality. I needed a 4 season tent and one that was more robust and comfy so I paid quite a bit more and got one that was heavier (2.5kg), better made and warmer.
