Diamond Select Toys Marvel Select: Avengers Movie Hulk Action Figure

I have collected super hero action figures from many lines over the years both DC and Marvel. My collection of Incredible Hulks has never been very good. The closest I got was an older figure from the 90's that unfortunately was super shiny. This figure is one of the best Hulks I have collected.First thing of note is that this figure is huge! It would take 2 of the DC Direct Supermen to make one of him and they still would be about 3.5 to 4 inches short. Also of note this Hulk's face is from the latest Avengers movie, ie it has a strong resemblance to the actor's face but it is very well done.Some people have complained about limited movement and stiffness and such but let me just say that compared to the older figures his articulation is very good for a figure of that size and bulk down to the swivel ball and socket joints of his ankles. I was able to pose him in a classic spinning back kick, that should give you some idea of the poses you can put him in. But lets face it, Hulk "smash" not dance so his classic beat down poses are all available. Like i said the only thing that may take away from the figure on a display shelf with your other Marvels is that he's very huge. As we all know the Hulk has changed size as many times as the Wasp depending on the artists.The painting is good and the finish is unusually solid. As someone who has collected everything from Mattel to the Bishoujo line of hero statues and figures I can honestly give this figure a thumbs up.

Hulk is one of my favorite of the Marvel Avengers. There are many versions of the Hulk but they are not all created equal. Once in a while though, they get everything right and release an amazing figure.This is my favorite version of Hulk for a number of reasons...1. Realistic face and coloring2. Significant Size and Weight3. Nice Detail and Articulation4. Impressive packaging allowing figure to be displayed equally well in or out of box.5. Affordable Price (for now)Overall, this is one very impressive version of the Hulk. It is sure to impress. Based on other similar Marvel figures and prices I recommend getting this one while it is still priced fairly low. nice look but a little bit dangerous for kids, too heavy

This hulk figure is really nice he’s tall fits with both marvel legends and diamond select figures. He’s tall as he should really great articulation

I as a collector, & Hulk fan was ecstatic when I got this. This movie version of The Hulk is excellent! Size wise, he is huge compared to other Diamond Select Marvel Figures, and other figures as well. Very good details on his face an the body, has some veins here and there, his pants have the appearance to be shredded from turning into the Hulk. Lot of articulation points on this giant. Very durable as well. This Hulk as I call is a Diamond Select "Dual Purpose" figure, is great for playing with as a toy or great for displaying purposes. He does well standing on his own and can pose in many different ways. My only complaint is his arms to me seem a little short but, don't let that stop you from getting this guy! This "Avengers" movie version of the Hulk is incredible! Awesome for kids to play with or like me, to display an pose and show off with the rest of your collection. Loved this Figure and if you decide to get him, I hope you do too.

It's difficult to convey the size of this thing even in pictures: you have to see the figure for yourself. I was expecting big, but when the figure arrived I was taken aback at how massive the Hulk is. Meaty, hefty, and able to stand tall, it's a great figure with a couple of minor downsides. The detailing on the pants and the muscles could have been more defined; I have a couple older Hulks with more striations and denim lines, but that's a minor quibble. The other quibble is that the durability is suspect with the hip joints; I'm glad I read another review to be careful with them, otherwise I might have torn off the left leg right from the start. Be gentle with Hulk's hips, and the rest of the toy is rock solid. The paint job is slightly iffy in touches, but I'm going to stop nitpicking. Overall, this toy is worth the price of admission for collectors, stands upright and looks beefy, and is an excellent addition for the Hulk fan at home.

I missed out on this figure when it was originally released but was happy to track it down at a little bit of a premium. Having it in-hand I can happily say this is one of the best Hulk toys ever released. It's well sculpted and the design is great whether paired with comic book or movie designs of the other Marvel select figures. If you're a collector or buying for someone who is a fan of the Hulk I'd definitely recommend this figure. I have this ranked a notch higher than the Marvel Select Age of Ultron Hulk because the ripped pants have that classic comic book Hulk feel opposed to Age of Ultron's under armor-ish super hero leggings. Marvel Select's Ragnarok Hulk is a much more detailed figure if you like your Hulk armored and wielding weapons but if you're searching for a great classic style Hulk then look no further.The articulation on this figure isn't as great as newer figures and if they had included a second pair of hands and/or head sculpt it would've been absolutely perfect but they aren't needed as the Hulk angry face and closed fists fit perfectly with the character. This figure gets 5 stars whether it's going to be displayed on a shelf or running around smashing other figures.

This Hulk figure is good not great. I like the face sculpt, and the shade of green they used. But I think his arms are dis-proportionate with his body. They could have made them a bit bigger. Also he seems to large and in my opinion doesn't go good with the Avenger Movie Legends. The "T" joints in his legs seem out of place. All in all not the best Hulk but not the worst.
