Moleskine Art Watercolor Notebook, Hard Cover, A4 (8.25" x 11.75") Plain/Blank, Black, 60 Pages

I used to buy the Moleskine art sketchbook but stopped because it didn’t accept wet media well. This watercolor version has thicker paper, and it’s perfect for my watercolors. I got the A4 size, and there’s plenty of room for multiple sketches/paintings on one page, and room left over for notes, too. I’ll definitely be repurchasing!

I am a fan of moleskin. I have put quite a bit of water on these pages for my paintings and it never bleeds to the other side.

Moleskine does not disappoint me. This is my go to notebook for my travel painting journal:)

The book is so nice and the paper works good for watercolor paints. It isn't as good as Arches paper but nothing can be as good as Arches. The paper is really nice and I have to force myself to "mess it up". I plan to use every page within a year. No holding back.

I haven't started using this yet, but I have a smaller one that I love. I'm looking forward to use this size and format!! I'm going to take this out to New Mexico this summer!!

This paper is very hard sized so as to not bleed through. Hard sized watercolor papers tend to be better suited for gouache and acrylics. However if you like working with puddles of watercolor paint on paper or streaking in your brush stroke this paper is for you.

My third one and I adore it. Highly recommend. I use watercolors and even thought it’s not 140lb as long as I don’t saturate the paper it is fine’ will buy again.
