Finally found a decent bike bag after my last one ripped during a trip to Colorado! This Aophire bag is noticeably better quality with thicker material that doesnt feel like it'll tear at the first sign of rough handling. Used it to transport my 27.5" mountain bike on a flight last month and it held up perfectly despite the baggage handlers clearly not being gentle with it. The size is generous - plenty of room for my bike after removing the front wheel and turning the handlebars. The upgraded straps are a huge improvement over my old bag - they actually attach securely to the bottom which distributes weight better when carrying through airports. One thing to note is that the padding is minimal so I wrapped my frame in some old towels for extra protection just to be safe. The fold-down size is impressively compact - takes up barely any storage space in my apartment closet when not in use. The side pocket is handy for storing tools and small parts so they dont get lost in the main compartment. The zippers are robust and haven't snagged even once which is refreshing compared to cheaper bags. Not perfect tho - wish it had wheels since it gets heavy carrying through long airport terminals. Also the shoulder strap could use a bit more padding for comfort. The blue color makes it easy to spot on the baggage carousel which is a nice bonus. Overall great value for the price and seems durable enough to last many trips. Definitely recommend for anyone who travels with their bike regularly but doesnt want to invest in a hard case!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Superb quality! The material is thick and built to last. While the rectangular shape isn’t exactly my personal style, it does make the bag particularly practical for storage. Some reviews don’t quite do it justice—it’s a great carry-on option for bike use.

It worked great for what I needed it before. It was a one time use to fly it from Louisiana to Colorado. Simple design and fit my Harper bike easily. However the front zipper busted and some of the straps came off with just one use. It’s great for what you pay for.

Here's my review after 2 international flights with 2 bikes. On the first flight, we had one bike per bag and did minimal packing i.e. not tying everything up. The end result at the other end was a partly opened bag, small holes in the bottom of each bag, some screws had come loose and were thankfully still in the bag, and one of the brake discs was no longer even because baggage handling had knocked things around and it hit something. This is definitely not what you want to do! On the return trip, we used 2 bags for 1 bike, and used a roll of masking tape and string to hold everything neatly in place with the brake discs protected on the insides (see attached picture), and screws all tightened. End result was that everything was fine. It's extra work, but this is what you need to do if you want your bike to survive an airplane trip with this bike bag.

I loved my Aophire Folding Bike Bag! Was going to drive to an out of state IronMan race and decided with just days before the race to fly instead. I had many friends with $1000 bike bags/cases and needed something less expensive. This worked beautifully and the bike shipped to and from the race with no damage. Easy to use, fit my bike perfectly. I did add some cardboard inserts and bubble wrap to prevent reckless baggage handlers. Highly recommend this product!

Sure your bike will get to its destination, but the material is so thin just pray it doesn’t get damaged. Only one round trip flight and there’s a hole in it, only reason I give 3 stars, is that it fit my bike and got the job done. I would never use this bag again , and I’m throwing it out. But it was cheap so whatever.

Used this for my husband’s bike during a cross country move. We moved through snow, rain, and terrible wind and this thing was not only super durable on top of our car but also protected his cycle bike well. It’s pretty thick in material and makes it easy to store as well.

This bag managed to transport my folding bike for exactly one round trip carrying a folding bike as baggage. The bag is completely ruined now. There are multiple punctures in the bag and most of the zipper is now stuck on open. Consider this a one time purchase
