Can it be broken with bolt cutters???

I doubt it. The shaft is 1/2" diameter stainless round stock. These are well made. I bought six for my shop and then a couple more to serve as extra internal deadbolts at house. You put a shank-less lock on it and drill the mounting holes through door with nut on other side so the bolts cant be un-done and you are about as secure as can get. It will keep and honest man honest anyway...

Are the screws covered when locked or can they be removed?

Can it be broken by plyers?

Well-made heavy duty bolt. Certainly not breakable by plyers. You may, however, need longer screws (preferably stainless). I use this bold on our front door and recommend.

What is the diameter of the screw holes ? I want to use threaded steel bolts, and need to know what is the maximum size I can use

Screw holes are a #12, but a #10 bolt may be a better option. I used 2 inch bolts, and had to reduce the size to a #10 to get past the barrel portion of the latch.
