Comparable to insoles costing twice as much or more.
I recently got some new work boots, and, being that any shoe without decent arch support causes me a nightmare of pain and discomfort, I tried several insoles with them. The boots are a bit big, so I assumed I'd need a space-filling insole, yet none of the ones I tried did much for me. Some of them were quite expensive. In my desperation to make the boots work, I found these Ailaka insoles while searching for semi-rigid ones. I learned while doing long-distance hiking that a more rigid insole, particularly in the heel, is VASTLY BETTER THAN A HEAVILY CUSHIONED ONE. I put that in caps because this is not common knowledge, and it needs to be, so let me repeat that. A rigid insole is generally much better than a heavily cushioned one. Forget the gel. Forget the softness. You want the heal to be locked in, which prevents movement, which creates pain and blisters. More than any other factor, the heel fit determines whether a shoe will continue to work correctly as you move. Anyway, I tried these in sort of a hail Mary effort to make the boots usable, and I didn't expect much because of the price. However, after using them for more than a week, spending over 8 hours a day standing up, I can say with confidence that they do their job better than practically every other insole I've ever tried. I'd absolutely put them up against Soles brand insoles, which are commonly 50 or 60 bucks and have an even more rigid plastic piece. They completely stopped the sliding around in the boot which occurred with the more expensive, more cushioned insoles. What's more, though their arch support doesn't seem very strong when you look at them, they immediately eased the pain I get from standing a long time. At the end of a shift I feel like I've been standing perhaps a couple of hours, which for me indicates very good arch support. That level of comfort is worth 50 or 60 dollars, but here's a company accomplishing it for far less. My only concern is that they may wear out a bit faster than the expensive brands, but I don't know yet. And if anyone from Ailaka ever reads this, I'm telling you, if you make something similar for hikers, but with a rigid piece that covers the whole insole, and can sell it for less than Soles does theirs, you're going to run those guys out of business. Serious hikers would love to pay 2/3 of the price because they have to replace their insoles often and it really adds up. I couldn't recommend these more strongly, particularly to anyone who needs arch support. Don't let the price fool you.

These are exceptional ~ Saved the day for me ~ Outstanding customer support
These insoles ended up saving me a lot of money. I had purchased a pair of Troentorp Unisex Båstad Rembrandt Leather Clogs. Unfortunately; after trying them out for a week; I discovered that I couldn't get used to them, as they kept falling off my feet. This was despite the fact that I had purchased the correct size. When I tried to return them; the online store that has a 60 day return policy refused to take them back, as I had worn them around the house. My next step was to go to a shoe repair store to see if a strap could be added to the back. I was told they couldn't do it. Finally; as a last resort, I searched on Amazon for a pair of insoles. To my surprise; the insoles not only work to keep my feet inside the clogs, but they're extremely comfortable as well. Now; instead of being stuck with a pair of very expensive clogs that I couldn't wear, I'm walking around in total comfort. In addition; this is an excellent company to do business with. A little card came with the insoles, stating that if there's a problem of any kind, you'll be issued a refund. The bottom line is that these are great insoles, and the company is just as great.

Really great quality for a great price
I must admit to being pleasantly surprised by these inserts. They work really well. I purchased a US men's size 10-12 for a size 10 shoe. Upon unboxing I found they had a slight odor to them that went away after a day of wearing them. I also didn't think they would offer much comfort under the balls of my feet since they were pretty firm. To my surpise that firmness actually provided a lot of cushion and welcome relief. Also unlike other inserts the archs seemed to be in a great position underneath my own archs and too far forwward.'ll If they last more than 3 months with everyday wear I'll change my reivew to 5 stars. I definitely recommend that you try them out. At least for me they have provided great comfort and value for a great price.

PERFECT!!
I WAS a huge wearer of Dr. Scholl's "Active Series" supports until they changed it to "Running." new design put the arch in the ball of my foot. THESE Ailaka Orthotic Cushion Arch Support are absolutely fitted for normal feet. The arch is EXACTLY where it's supposed to be, AND there is amazing cushioning for the ball of your foot, and heal. BUY THESE and walk and stand with support and comfort.

Squeaky
I’ve been wearing these for the last month and I love everything about them except for the fact that squeak! Usually new insoles will do it until they get a little worn in, but these won’t stop and it’s driving me insane! The reinforced arch is perfect though!

I've been wearing them for over a month
First time with this brand. I rarely buy the same insert twice but I will be buying these again. I'm thinking they will be usable for 3 months of continuous, 10 hr day use. They are like a bra with a good underwire. They hold your arch in place and still allow you to move. I don't think they do anything for stability but they keep my feet from screaming at me from my Plantar fascitis. Would recommend

Heel is not soft but arch and heel cupping support is fine. Not for plantar fasciitis.
I returned these after a trial period of standing on top for ten minutes. The arch support and cupping heel was sufficient but the cushion in the heel was very hard. Pressing in with your finger feels spongy and somewhat soft but actually standing on it felt like nothing. I bought these for the description of heel cushion and softness, which I didnt feel. I have plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis and was hoping this is what would help but it didn't. If it wasn't comfy afte lr ten minutes, it would not be good for all day. This will be fine for someone who does not need the heel softness.

Unfortunately, this insole was a bad experience for me. Although I don’t have large feet (my size is average), the insole feels too narrow in the middle. It doesn’t follow the natural shape of the male foot. The narrow center causes pressure on the inner side of the foot — the part opposite the arch — leading to discomfort even after short periods of use. There is a constant feeling of pressure along the edge of the insole, especially on that inner side, which leaves a noticeable imprint on the foot. The raised arch might suit some people, but in my case, it made things worse. I wanted to return the product, but the return shipping cost is higher than the product price itself. I also reached out to the seller asking if they could send a wider version, but I never received any reply.

I've been using custom insoles for my very skinny, archy feet since I was 16. I'm hypermobile, so misstepping would mean a terrible disarray of my other joints, from the calves to the hips. Trying to get affordable inserts that could help with this issue has been a lost cause until now. These are sturdy, offer great support, and have softness in the right places, meaning that I will walk comfortably. They are black in their totality, so I fit them inside my Dr Martens sandals. Until now, I would have to suffer the consequences of wearing sandals without insoles or wear some Birkenstocks, but these fit perfectly inside my gladiator-style sandals, and it is almost impossible to see that there are insoles. THANK YOU! I will buy it again.
