Garlic Kalahari Biltong, Air-Dried Thinly Sliced Beef, 2oz (Pack of 5), Sugar Free, Gluten Free, Keto & Paleo, High Protein Snack

Pop was a WWII Navy Veteran and his favorite Naval meal was something he called SOS: S#*t On A Shingle. Mom and I call it chipped beef on toast. Well, beloved Amazon customers, I found the most delicious thinly sliced dried beef to make this wonderful meal and it’s called Kalahari Biltong. It’s so easy to make; I open a jar of Alfredo Sauce, add a package of Kalahari Biltong thinly sliced dried beef and SOS!!! DEEEELISH!!! 🤗❤️🌹 to Kalahari!

This is a great product...when fresh. While it was not technically expired, it had been sent past its best buy date, 10/31/20. The product was drier than normal, did not have a full-bodied flavor, and did not have that tender snap to it I’m used to. It also did not have that signature garlicky taste. Rather bland and dry. Next time, please let customers know they will be receiving product that has exceeded its maximum freshness date, and perhaps discount it because it’s quality has degraded and not fully worthy of the full price.

If you are tired of sweet beef jerky that has too much sugar in it, this will be a welcome change. I got two packages and they were gone in two days. So just getting another package! The garlic flavor is good but I'd actually prefer this to have a little less salt. Maybe they could come out with a lower salt version for those of us with high blood pressure. (P.S. Third package was not as salty! Seems like some are, some are not.)Anyway, this is one of the best biltongs I've tried at amazon. I grew up eating biltong and it was never sliced so nice to have it sliced for easier eating. Like I said, one package can be eaten in one sitting pretty quick. Which is why I have ordered more! This product is very filling and easy to snack on. That's always great for a snack. I always love garlic and anything with garlic. It hit the spot. I liked the little strips so I could pair it with different foods. For instance, I made avocado toast and put the biltong on top of it. I found creative ways to eat it and pair it.Two things I felt could be better was more in the bag and the flavor could be stronger. Overall, I'd try again!

The product is very good and reminds me of the old time jerky from 30 years ago. The package comes with a limited amount, so it does not last very long. I thought it was fairly basic without much extra stuff (like old time jerky used to be). Most jerky today has too much pepper or other things added. I purchased the garlic flavor but I could not taste any garlic.I wish the product was more affordable. It was a nice treat and something I enjoying trying for the first time.

I am a jerky lover already, but this stuff is topnotch! The flavor was so good and it was all the soft type jerky! I don’t really care for the hard type pieces, so it was so nice to have an entire bag full of the good stuff!!! The only thing I didn’t like about it was the package was too small! My 4 year old and I had the bag empty in a matter of minutes and I was tempted to lick the bag after it was gone! 🤣 If you like jerky, you should definitely give this a taste, you won’t regret it.

There's no excuse for this especially when you can see inside the package but I guess that's what you get when you hire a bunch of crackheads. And too top it off you can't return it and with me with stage 4 cancer can't very well afford to replace it myself so buyer beware

I absolutely love these snack bags. The flavor is great, they're much easier to chew than regular jerky, and most of all I love that they're sugar free. Each bag is a good portion that is really filling as a hearty snack. Great for an active lifestyle and easy to take along with you, but also great for days at home when you want a guilt free snack.
