Work Perfectly over AFOs
Best shoes on the market to fit over AFO's/ ankle-braces. They are durable, open very wide to accommodate the braces and fasten securely. I tried at least 3 other supposedly "extra wide" shoes that came nowhere near fitting. The New Balance are worth the extra money!!

Best wide little kid sneaker.
We always go back to the kv990. After trying different models from NB, this model is the only one that is truly wide enough for wide feet. We had the kv990 last few school years and thought we'd try a different style this year, but no model was ever as comfortably wide. Now we are on our 4th pair! This year's version seems to have a more secure Velcro strap too.

Awesome shoe for kids but be careful with the velcro strap
great shoes, this is my sons second pair. the velcro is only reason i'm not giving this shoe a 5 star. on the ends of the strap, its coming apart. aside from that the shoe is great

GREAT looking and fits perfect.
EXCELLENT quality and from what the 6 year old say they feel great and apparently he can run much faster in these then his last pair.

Does not hold up
My daughter wore these shoes a few times over the course of 2 weeks and now the tongue on the shoe is falling off. It's hanging on by 1 thread. Would not recommend this shoe. I have paid much less for shoes that have held up a lot better. Unfortunately, today is the first chance I have had to attempt to return and I see that I am 2 days over the return period.

Great shoe, Velcro strap too wide so stick with laces
If your child has wide feet, New Balance shoes might be the only shoes that fit correctly. This shoe is great in XW for chubby toddler feet, however the velcrostrap was a deal breaker for us because it prevented my child from moving his feet up and down properly. This version of the shoe with laces is the best shoe ever though! So keep in mind when you buy this shoe that the Velcro strap might not be very comfortable.

A lot of width yes
So much easier to put on my kids feet verses his other shoes that are not extra width. My kid seems to like the fit but he's under 2. He did say "Yeah!" when I put them on him

Beautiful and comfortable shoes
Beautiful shoes for little girls. Comfortable. however it is not made in USA but still my daughter loves it and I am happy with my purchase.
