Blackberry PRD-65001-001 32GB Key2 LE Android - Slate Grey

I have had Blackberry phones since 2001 and this is by far the best it has been a little tricky at first to change from my Q10 but a week down the line and I am more than happy with this amazing phone.

I really wanted a physical keyboard again, so was delighted to find this BlackBerry. Lots of features and shortcuts I still haven't tried all of them!

I bought this Blackberry Key2 LE in the hopes to retire my BB Classic.Unfortunately on the first day of using it, I identified a few ergonomic and day-to-day issues that bugged me immensely:1 - the installed Android font is not as dense or easy on the eyes as the old BB 10 font. You can only make the text bigger or smaller or change the launcher. But for email it just looks wrong. No option to use the Blackberry don't that is proven and loved.2 - The screen is about half as bright as BB Classic and also very blue tinted. Could not change it, so everything looks subdued and clinical. Looking at this thing every day would make me want to use the device less.3 - The Hub messaging application doesn't have many options to customize the look and feel and looks like the trendy email apps that are not designed for power users.Not a real BB Hub level replacement email client.4 - Requirement to setup a Google account (I avoid Google where possible and I wouldn't want Google to have an awareness of linked personal mail), so this is also disappointing.There should have been a BB verified app configuration for the app store that doesn't require a Google account.5 - Keyboard feels a bit "gravel-like" with hard and light clicks instead of buttons that sink and feel almost fluid in their response.6 - Picking it up off the table is not natural, because it sits flush with the table, it's not easy to pick it up by the edge of the phone.Returned it. Will wait for the next generation.
