I purchased this item almost 3 years ago when I got a new car, and it is still working very well. I leave it plugged into my car, so I'm not loosening the connection by removing it all the time. It's a good size, not too big. I like the color it lights up when the car is on. It also makes it easy to see. It has held up very well for me, and still charges well. I have had no issues with it at all. I recommend this item.

Product works very well. Charges quickly. However, being used in a 2012 F150; leaving the adapter plugged in causes enough RF interference to set off TPMS Faults and greatly reduce Key Fob range. Unplug the adapter when not in use to avoid said occurrences.

I don't need fast charging at all times, which hurts the life of my phone battery. This is the only charger I could find that has both fast and slower charging options so I can swap between either one depending on my needs. On rare occasion I need to fast charge in my car this can do it, but for the rest of the time it can charge at a slower rate to not damage my phone battery as much. This has worked well for keeping my iphone at 98% battery health after 2 years of use.The charger fits pretty snug into the port. It helps to squeeze the metal bars on the sides of the charger to help it go into the hole easier. I like how the snug fit keeps it from popping out or disconnecting when I pull out the USB cables. My old charger wasn't as snug fit and would sometimes pull out just enough to disconnect the power without me knowing.For my daily use I use the fast charging port for my dashcam and the slow charging port for my phone, then just swap them if I happen to need to charge the phone faster.

I have purchased several adapters from Amazon throughout the years, mostly the flush fitted ones. They would work fine but fizz out after a while. I'm old fashioned and still use a garmin gps and need these adapters. I discovered the hard way that the other brands do not fit probably in my husband's chevy car and have had my gps die out on the freeway. This one is cheaper than all the other brands I've purchased and work with both my kia suv and my husband's chevy. I also bought the other version with a flatter top but this one fits the chevy more securely. And the price is amazing. Already bought two and will buy two more for travel and car rentals.

Good charger for car

I used this charger on a motorcycle trip to charge my old iPhone 8+ that I use for navigation. Used the 2.4amp USB and it worked great. The phone was screen on, navigating, and connected to my helmet Bluetooth for 8 hours+ a day and the battery stayed at 100% the entire time. Even more, I randomly had a charge cable fail one day and the phone dropped to 13% charge. I grabbed a new cable and this charger was able to recharge the phone back to 100% in just an hour or two while doing all the things mentioned above. Color me impressed.Also, an important design element for motorcyclists, this unit is compact, sticking up only about a half inch from the 13v port, the USB ports have a snug fit (no cords wiggling free as you ride), and the plug itself fits very snuggly into the 12v port. Things stayed rock solid for the trip, much of which was in the dirt.
