Do these work on a sliced nail

These are temporary patches to hold a broken or split nail together, they may not be able to hold a sliced nail together

could I also apply them for a day on the big toe directly? with missing nail

These are patches and would not cover the entire nail bed. Even so I would NOT recommend these to be used in this instance.
