Are these machine washable? My 18 month old gets car sick so hoping these would help speed up clean up. Thanks in advance

I bought 2 sets. The black is very sturdy and has not been cleaned at the moment, but I think it’s ok if you put it in a laundry bag separately and throw it into the washing machine.

The backrest: 23.6 x19 inch, the seat:18.5 x 19 inch, the mesh is 15 x 8.5 inch.

Is it a thick material? Will it have a strong chemical smell and looks ugly?
