Different from Fray Check
This stuff is almost as thick as Elmer's Glue or Mod Podge. I bought it as a replacement for Fray Check, since it's much cheaper and you get more. It can be used instead of Fray Check to do the same thing, but it takes some getting used to. You can't apply it directly to the fabric because it tends to dump too much out all at once and it's thick enough that it will just sit on top of the fabric, but if you squeeze some onto a scrap of paper, you can use your finger to smooth it onto the edge of the fabric. It's white while wet but dries clear. One advantage is that it is much more flexible than Fray Check. Also, since it doesn't wick into the fabric like Fray Check, you don't risk it bleeding into an area that will show. As with Fray Check, some fabrics look wet or water stained where you have applied the glue, even after it dries. It dries quickly - not as fast as super glue, but about as fast as Fray-Check when applied at the same thickness. It doesn't soak all the way through thicker fabrics which is nice. It lost one star because the bottle doesn't dispense as precisely as I would like, but overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Fabric fray glue
I bought some poor quality ribbon. This glue seems to stop it fraying. Hopefully if item is washed it will still stay secure.

Fixed my super expensive rug
I was really frustrated at how the edges of my Ruggable brand rug started fraying and looking messy. Obviously didn't want to replace the rug since this one cost upward of $600. I bought this and applied it with a kid's toothbrush to the edges and it looks good as new!
