Would this be a good idea for snakehead fishing?

I made a snare with a 10’ piece of 1/2” pvc and steel picture hanging wire… I made loop at one and used a small piece of wood for a tee handle on the other end. I can snare the snake and release it elsewhere or pull harder and make two snakes, if I choose to do so.

Why the handle is made of such a cheap metal that it snaps off at a slightest load?

Our handle broke the very first use and left a sharp dangerous, jagged metal edge. This was one of my most disappointing purchases ever and my kids were sad because they were excited about them. Total garbage!

We got this net, can’t figure out how to collapse it once it’s open?

I couldn't figure out how to collapse it either, then I realized I was trying to collapse it in the wrong direction. You pull the ribbed notch at the base of the net down, then fold the net BACKWARDS. It collapses right down.

Would this fishing net catch minnows?

The net hole is 1/5 inch (0.5 CM), It is good for catching small fishes.
