These boards are a good size for me and seems like good quality fiberglass and not fragile. They are single sided with each row of holes connected by a trace along the long axis of the board. The trace is easily cut by a x-acto knife if needed. Works great and I am very happy with them.

The PCB board fits the need. However, I did not realize PCB's were made so thin. It worked out for my needs, but for a reviewer's warning ... the board is thin. Also, not so obvious in the description, but in the longer length direction the copper holes are wired together. And the copper is only on one side.

I use these things in some projects. Be careful and fully understand that they are comprised of full length copper traces. I mill the traces to open lines (a Dremel with a round metal milling tool works). Another approach would be to etch the lines (if my designs get more complicated I will etch). Their huge advantage is that they are dirt cheap. Another user-unfriendly feature is that they have no mounting holes. But, their size is right (like a woman's skirt: small enough to be interesting but long enough to cover the material).

I said bad words as soon as I opened the package: the pads do not look like they are connected, but after testing with my meter, I can state with confidence there is continuity along the lettered columns and discontinuity along the numbered rows. Under magnification, you can see a tiny bit of copper trace along the edges.Other than that, my only complaint is that the plastic ziplock bag they come in is taped shut and the description label is attached to that. Had to cut the tape surgically to keep the ziplock intact but the label had to go with the tape...Pretty happy with what I got for the price, so I am clearly stretching for negatives...

I've wired a half-dozen or so circuits on this board (guitar pedals, mostly), and have been very satisfied with the board's quality. I've encountered no discontinuities or shorts in the strips, and the thickness of the substrate is adequate for what I need. Best value I've found for stripboard on Amazon.

You know what? The board is soft and mushy phenolic but I can cut it with scissors...So 5 stars! Perfect for what I need it for.If you want good perfboard then Amazon have plenty of cheap ones made of FR-4, you are looking at the wrong place
