The adhesive strip is on the back of the bag.

Does this have a cardboard / cardstock backing?

No, these are just the bags. I ordered the backings separately.

These bags seem rather tight. Bought with the same brand "current size" boards, I can barely get the comic in the bag. Did I just get a bad batch?

The bags I got are a snug fit, but definitely manageable. I find it helps to put the board in first then the comic, but even going both at the same time I can usually get it pretty easily if I'm careful in lining them up. But that last part's the key; it really has to be lined up right or it will not go.

Do you combine shipping on multiple items purchased?
