Velcro is sturdy
Works how I’d hope. Straps to the wrist and has had lots of uses. Stitching for Velcro is holding up well. Prefer this type of strap over floating bands since this will not come off your wrist. Feels secure while riding.

Much better fit than OEM
Got this to replace my OEM Yamaha waverunner lanyard and the Velcro strap holds well to your wrist. Gives me confidence to ride without risking the lanyard falling off. So far it has held up great!
