Good for camping or a backup set
You get what you pay for. I was attracted to the all metal design, but I found myself getting annoyed with the rectangular “keeper” due to it sliding. I personally much prefer the kind where you pull from the end to keep them closed. Good value, but cheaply made.

I like the securing mechanism.
The other closing lock mechanism my previous tongs were locked by a soft plastic unit which when pulled upward kept the tongs closed when put away. It shortly wore out and failed.This product has a metal clip that positions itself open and closed by gravity, up or down open or closed. It works well and simple is better.
