Pyrex Lids do not split like Anchor Hocking lids do!
We don’t use plastic containers any more. So convenient to eat directly out of the one cup glass containers for fruit, jello, pudding, etc. directly out of the fridge! Perfect for reheating a side dish, serving and eating out of the same dish. Pyrex lids keep working but the Ancor Hocking lids are a bit too tight and split so hopefully these replacement Pyrex lids will work for the long haul like the lids on the Pyrex cups, I have! If all the Anchor Hocking one-cup lids split I will replace them with these lids by Pyrex. They are dish-washer safe on the top rack.

Just as expected
It's a shame that you have to rebuy these because they split after time. I use these everyday multiple times a day, multiple sizes. This was a great price and I appreciate the opportunity to buy just the lids

Pyrex Brand Makes a Difference
Because I freeze and heat my Pyrex lids a lot, over time they crack. I had purchased an off brand because they were easy to find at the time, but they never worked properly. The plastic was soft so you had to be careful trying to put the lid on or it would collapse into the container.I was glad to find the Pyrex brand. And I was glad to find them now in the blue color. I've had my Pyrex for a while and the red was getting old. These tops work as well as the original. Will be replacing all of my old red ones over time.

Only Designed for a Specific Brand
Good quality product. I expected them to fit the one-cup bowls I have, but they did not. I can still use them on some cups I have so I'm keeping them, and the mistake I made was due to the fine print I didn't notice where it said only designed to fit a certain brand item. They are also useful for using as coasters for glasses. Not all 1-cup bowls are alike.

Excellent replacement
They fit perfectly (Pyrex)! I would recommend that if use these in the freezer, either run water over the lid or let them thaw for a while, so the plastic softens up, before removing the lid. Otherwise, they will break! Also, if you use HEAT in your dishwasher, TOP RACK ONLY.

Fits Good for Replacement
I wish you did not have to buy so many. I understand the cost as this is a niche buy, but for my issue of needing a new one this did come in handy. Pricey though.

> DOES THE JOB
> I purchased these lids for 1 cup, 2 cup, and 4 cup Anchor Hocking glass storage bowls.> All three size fit perfectly and seal tightly on my Anchor Hocking glass storage bowls.> The lids are a little thicker than the original Anchor Hocking, and so may last longer.RECOMMENDATIONS> The lids should NOT be used in the microwave. However, if a lid (and the contents of the container) is frozen, it is likely to crack if you try to pull it off. It is best to microwave frozen storage containers for 1--2 minutes before removing the lid.> I've found that silicon lids work great in the microwave InfiDeals Suction Lid Food Cover Combo, Red/Green/Orange/Blue, Set of 4 for heating food in the glass storage containers> You may be able to get longer life out of all of your plastic food containers by NOT using a forced dry cycle in your dishwasher. When I switched between my old Frigidaire dishwasher (which had forced drying), to my new Bosch dishwasher (which does not have forced drying), I noticed that my plasticware lasted much longer. Even if your dishwasher has forced drying by default, you can usually choice a cycle which does not used forced drying. Turning off forced drying saves a lot of $ in electricity, and your plastics will last longer. Without forced drying, ceramics and metals will usually dry fine with just the heat of the wash. Plastics will be wet, but can easily air dry if the dishwasher drawer is left open for a while, or can dry on your countertop.> Click on “Stoney” just below the product title to see my other reviews, or leave a comment to ask a question.
