It's a very bright hand held flashlight. One great feature is the zoom lens gives you a pretty darn bright spot beam out to great distances. I can light up the top of a fifty foot tree a couple of a hundred plus feet away and see every detail and branch inside the tree. This light uses a newer and larger size lithium battery. I have not tested the drain time, but with a powerful LED like this one, you will need the large format battery. It's a newer style 26800 format, 5000mAH. About an 1-1/8" in diameter and 3" Long. It looks hefty. It's a hand held sized light. It can fit in your pocket, but is a little larger than a pocket flashlight. I like this size if you are carrying a flashlight while working in a dark area or just taking a walk. Its definitely the brightest I've had for the money. Not a bad buy at all

I bought this for my husband for a Father's Day present and he has been like a kid in a candy store he loves it and it does exactly what it says it does he has gone as far as to burn the cardboard and it even lit a cigarette he's very cautious with it though and make sure that he doesn't leave it laying around for the kids to use or for me to grab by accident. And the brightness is amazing

It works exactly as described. It lit up my backyard like it was daytime. The focused lens for fire starting worked on paper and thick cardboard. I didn't try it on anything else.

The so called magnifying "firestarter" is a sales gimmick dont get suckered like I did! But I love the flashlight otherswise

i love this light, its insanely bright and the zoom feature makes this extremely multipurpose the throw is insanely far and bright for any type of use as well as 3 dim modes and a strobe well worth the price versus other brands

This thing is BRIGHT! Purchased for my freshman on college campus for after dark return to dorms. Highly recommend for any young person who has to be out after dark.

Hope it works!I bought this light thinking it was going to be great. When I received the light it worked very well so I placed it on charge and after charge I put it in my bag for when I needed it. Surprise surprise when I needed it battery was dead so I put it back on charger thinking maybe it turned on in bag but now it will not take a charge. Flashlight will only turn on with power cord plugged in and of course it’s passed return so just a paper weight at this point unless they want to send me a new battery. I will not spend anymore money on this product!!

This light is Bright!! It will light up your backyard like you had a spotlight. I am eager to try the fire lighter lens. Have not used it yet.
