My brother lost his voice and could only speak at a whisper due to a tumor on his vocal cords. He was really frustrated trying to communicate and being heard. It worked perfectly, when other amplifiers failed, and he was able to be heard. This gave him his voice back.! I wish I ordered it sooner.

Be prepared to be confused. The instrution booklet is a joke. It does not explain how to turn on voice. Here are the instructions to turn on on voice. Good luck/To turn on the voice function of the Voice Amplifier for Teachers, follow these steps:1. Press the Power/Play or Pause button on your amplifier for 3 seconds to turn it ON.2. Press and hold the "M" (Mode) button for 5 seconds until the screen displays "UHF".3. Press and hold the Power button on your microphone to turn it ON.4. Press and hold the Pairing key for 5 seconds on your microphone until you hear the voice prompt "UHF is connected".5. Rotate the Volume knob on your amplifier clockwise towards the "+" to increase the volume.6. Press the Volume + button on your microphone to amplify the volume.7. Position your microphone around your head with the microphone head pointed near your mouth.Note: Refer to the user manual for information on the exact location of the buttons and knobs, as they may vary by brand and model.

I coach flag football and since I’ve had 2 vocal cord surgeries, I have no desire to put my cords under stress unnecessarily. This device works really well, there’s so distortion, it has significant reach and allows the speaker to be heard without them straining. I use it in practice with my players every day. I recommend it to any coach wanting to give their voice some reprieve.
