Powerful and Reliable Cordless Grinder for Precision Work
The Milwaukee 2939-20 18V Cordless 1/4" Braking Die Grinder is a fantastic tool that delivers on power and precision. As a professional, I rely on high-performance tools, and this die grinder does not disappoint. The braking feature is excellent for added control and safety during use, especially when working with intricate parts. The 18V battery provides solid power, and I love the fact that it’s cordless, which makes maneuvering much easier. It’s lightweight but still packs a punch, making it ideal for long working sessions. The slide switch is simple and easy to operate, and the chrome finish gives it a sleek, professional look. Overall, it’s a highly durable and reliable grinder that I would recommend to anyone in need of a quality tool for detailed grinding and polishing tasks.

Must for plumber,pipe fitter, pipelayers
As a pipelayer this tool is invaluable. Specifically used when cutting down roof drains or cutting existing pvc pipe that were stubbed too far into manholes. When you don't want to shovel 2' around a pipe to fit a Sawzall just hold this sucker down inside your pipe and cut it out clean and easy. I've never had an issue like some but we don't have weak wrists and forearms here.Never used it to cut D.I.P. or cast. Only PVC schd 40, sdr 35 and 26. Time saver.Highly suggest metal blades don't get the abrasive cutting wheels. Get diamond and metal ones they last sooooo much longer. You'll need to buy a Mandrel For Cut-Off Wheels W/3/8" Arbor Hole, 1/4" Stem to use this tool it does not come with one.And of course blades with a 3/8" hole usually 3" diameter for use. It's a must. Cheap tool saves you money on it's first few uses.Stay safe ditch diggers.

Powerful and Affordable Die Grinder for Heavy Duty Work
I recently purchased the M18 die grinder for just $130, a steal considering its retail price of $270 on Milwaukee's website. As someone who works on heavy equipment, I understand the importance of having a reliable die grinder on hand. This tool has truly been a lifesaver on multiple occasions since I added it to my arsenal a few weeks ago. The performance of the M18 is top-notch, and the fact that it comes at such a discounted price makes it even more impressive. Even if you don't foresee needing a die grinder often, I highly recommend grabbing this one. It's a fantastic investment that I can't praise enough.

Underperforming Die Grinder
The slide switch is awkward and hard to use, and the grinder lacks power for heavy-duty tasks. It also feels bulky and uncomfortable to handle.

Deal so good, I was afraid it was a scam...
Got the M18 die grinder for around $130. This thing sells on Milwaukee's website for like $270! A die grinder is one of those tools that most people don't need often, but when you do need one... there is no substitute. I work on heavy equipment and I've used this bad boy several times since I got it a couple of weeks ago. It's a great die grinder. It's saved my butt a couple of times. It's a good tool at full price. At $130?!? Get it even if you don't need it. I recommend.

Solid workmanship and durable
I recently replaced the slide switch on my grinder with this one, and I’m very impressed with its performance! The switch fits perfectly, and installation was quick and straightforward, with no need for complex tools or adjustments. The build quality is solid, and it feels durable enough to withstand frequent use without any issues. What I really like about this switch is how smooth the action is. Turning the grinder on and off is effortless, and it provides a secure, consistent connection. The switch is also responsive, with a nice tactile feedback when it’s engaged, so I know the grinder is powered up and ready to go.Another standout feature is how well it holds up to the vibrations and rough handling that come with heavy-duty grinding tasks. I’ve used the grinder for several projects, and the switch hasn’t shown any signs of wear or malfunction. It’s been reliable and easy to operate, even when working for extended periods.
