I've gone through numerous Wi-Fi routers over the years, always ending up disappointed—either the software was too complicated or too limited. Excellent product!Have a several AP upstairs due to rings WiFi being complete garbage and the need to extend 2.4G so coverage is excellent.A long list of features that add to the functionality and I have had no issues with the devices once installed and configured.Do you need the Pro version... probably not but that is a personal call.

ok so I was looking at the U6 Lite but came across this (the 6+) which is cheaper and better model than the Lite and I thought I would give it a go as I was also looking at the 6-LR.I installed this in a large house with solid walls. The Wifi signal has reach pretty much everywhere in my house with good range. I came from a Synology Mesh System which that and other solutions I have tried have failed to reach my entire house. Yet one of these Unifi access points reach every room?? How, I do not know but its excellent.Currently running the controller in docker, but plan to move to a Dream Machine Pro for home use as we have a huge amount of devices.Recommend A+++

Decided to go the Ubiquiti route (almost) across the board for my VLAN setup. Although it is potentially more expensive than other kit around I was drawn to the clear management interface.I was a complete novice at the start of the process and have had a very steep learning curve over a couple of weeks setting up VLANS serving the infrastructure, CCTV, IoT and Trusted networks, both wired and wireless and sorting out the intricacies of changing my cameras to feed the CCTV NAS.These units are effectively plug and play on the PROMAX 16- I have 2 broadcasting the same networks and they work seamlessly together (one downstairs and one upstairs).In my previous setup I was simply using a common network for everything (both wired and wireless).The ISP router wireless unfortunately does seem to throw out a stronger signal than these overall, but left patchy reception in a couple of bedrooms.Overall I'm happy to get more even coverage upstairs and down, with the extended network protection of setting up various VLANS to prevent intrusion through any IoT or CCTV device.

I have been using this access point for a while now and it has been very reliable with high speeds and a long range. The app is simple to use and is really easy to set up. I have used it for VR with wireless Steam Link and it works quite well. POE Power is useful and in a year of use ai have never had it cut out or need rebooting.

Got this to replace my 10 year old ubiquity AP and very happy with it now its setup. Bit smaller in size and feels more solid. Needs a more powerful POE injector/PSU than the old ones.Setting up done through the app and was a little bit fiddly. Wouldn't connect for a while, then once in you just set the SSID and password and if you want to split the 2.4 and 5 GHz channels. After you can change a few things, but you don't have access to much else. need to buy their router or gateway thing for that.The signal is really good and all my devices connected to it no problem using the same SSID and password.Very impressed overall.
