Our house has a well-type sprinkler system, and over 20+ years our grey-green siding and white vinyl window frames turned orange-red in spots from the mineral-heavy water. I mean, RED with no original color at all. Of course, I tried other products over the years, but nothing worked. They were so weak, it was laughable, so I stopped trying. I was actually considering replacing the siding when I bought this. Imagine, paying very little money for a product that actually WORKS! Light staining faded and disappeared in under two minutes. I will need another bottle to finish the job, but at these prices, who cares? Keep in mind, Out apparently removes the stain chemically a layer at a time. For our 20 years of ground water exposure, requiring another half bottle to finish the job is nothing! The siding is now back to its original color in most of the spray pattern and looks shiny and clean with no damage; in fact, it's now smoother to the touch with the stains gone. The stain had also colored the lower half of a window frame, and even that is sparkling again! Out did no damage at all to the light-blocking window screen in the frame. Although the directions suggest rubbing with a cloth, I didn't see any improvement over spraying, then waiting and spraying then waiting. So a cheap product that works perfectly with zero labor--where do I buy stock???--I received absolutely no compensation for this review.

If you have well water and need to get the stains out, this is the perfect solution!!! I’ve been spending way too much money and too much time scrubbing with bleach for over a hour weekly on the orangeish/yellow stains in the shower and bleach still doesn’t get it all out. I sprayed this on the stain and within 5-10 seconds, the stain is gone!!! It works like magic!! Just spray it on the surface and 5-10 seconds later wipe it with a damp wash cloth and the stain is lifted! You don’t even really need to scrub it! It’s also so much cheaper than using 2 or 3 rounds of bleach. It also worked on the shower curtain liner that was stained too!! I just sprayed it while it was still hanging and worked wonderfully!! I would still wash your shower curtain liner after you spray it though after the stain starts to lift. There are only a couple of cons. It has a very strong smell but doesn’t smell too bad, you just need good ventilation and to open your bathroom window while you clean. The other con is it can bother your skin if you don’t wear gloves. It touched my skin a couple times but I just washed my hand/arm when it got in contact with the spray and it was fine. Overall amazing product!!

I've bought a lot of cleaners like this over the years and am almost always disappointed. But not this time! Wow, this stuff really works! I used it to clean the rust stains off the sides of my utility trailer that were streaking down from all of the sheet metal screws. Sprayed it on, left it there about 5 minutes, then wiped it off with a rag that I also sprayed some of this cleaner on and by golly the stains came right off! Not only did the rust stains come off, but I noticed that wherever I got it on the dirty oxidized bare aluminum the metal now looked like new again! So I sprayed it on all of the bare aluminum parts too. Really fantastic results, so totally unexpected that I had to write a review, which I don't do very often. Just be sure to give it time to work, about 5 minutes worked for me, as I was outside and it was starting to dry by that time. And I made sure the cloth I was using also had a little sprayed on it too. Very impressed with the results.

I have hard well water and even with my softener I still get the build up in my tub and sink. Like most people I've tried literally everything out there to clean my tub and I still spend quite a bit of time scrubbing. This Iron Out spray is a game changer! I sprayed it on and let it set for 5-10 minutes then washed it off, it works! I only had to scrub a few areas with heavier build up and the rest just washed away with water. This spray will save me a lot of time and energy. I gave it 4 stars simply because there are still some light iron stain marks in my tub that were under the top surface of grime. I'll probably spray it again next time and just let it sit longer to see if it removes the stains. Also, the water ring stain in my toilet didn't fade away as much as I had hoped. Other than that I'm very happy with this product and I'll continue to use it.

This product works great! Took rust out very quickly. I’m so happy I found this, no more scrubbing with a cleanser.
