Screen protection options?

This makes sense to me and anyone whose had to throw away a tv because an “act of god” allowed a jellybean to crack my TV… Anyway, for any future ppl wanting to protect TV screen: best idea so far is to buy piece of acrylic (or plexiglass) and cut to fit. Also clear PVC sheets can be purchased at specified sizes. These are options but not meant for the purpose TV screen protection. You will lose clarity/quality which also depends on how well these materials are customized and applied for said purpose. I would/will try the Acrylic (rigid) sheets. They are closer to glass (clear/transparent) than clear (soft) pvc material. “Stuff” happens! Just because it hasn’t happened to you yet, don’t shame others for being prudent and protective of their investment. Assumptions: usually come from its first three letters followed by a hole… Who said anything about touching their TV when asking the question? Assuming ass…
