How well does this jug keep milk hot?

I have only ever used the jug to keep milk cold, and it works very well doing that. The insulating effect is very good. Be careful with the little rubber gasket on the lid. Mine got lost and now the jug does not work as well. I must get a new one.

Yes, although you have to be careful you don't break the gasket round the stopper when you take it off to clean. It's stainless steel, so pretty much indestructible and you can put it in the dishwasher.

Yes, the milk is kept cold, it works a treat.

is this product dishwasher safe?

I'm not sure, however, I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher, due to the filling top being quite small, so I wash mine under a hot tap for thorough cleaning. They really keep the milk cold so I would recommend and they hold a 1 litre of milk.

Poor pouring

Loved the look of the jug. It is a good jug and keeps milk cold but poor lip and pours badly.

Great idea but not quite up to the job

The biggest downside is the cleanliness. The narrowing of the pour part of the jug doesn’t allow hand to get in to fully clean, and instructions state not to fully submerge jug. Which I did in the end because I couldn’t fully get my hand in to clean. Then water unfortunately got into areas of the jug and you can’t get it out (that is my fault as it does clearly stare do not submerge) It is quite sharp on the narrow end, so you have to be careful when cleaning too. Other downside is you cannot store milk in the jug in the fridge. Obviously milk is a very funny food that I am sure you can’t store in many items. But of course if you over fill then milk will be wasted which is a shame. So for me a thumbs down I am afraid. It is not what I had hoped for, and I have now ditched it, so an expensive mistake for me.
