Pre-heat this pan for best results!
Fantastic pan for creating a variety of recipes. Although it came seasoned, I added another quick coat. The secret I quickly learned was preheating for 10 mintues to get the best browning on the bottoms and sides. Before then, the second batch always turned out better. Most of my recipes cook perfectly in my Ninja toaster over at 400 degrees. Perfect investment.

Use canola oil not spray can oil to season
I have used this to bake my homemade bread rolls and biscuits. Also poppers. It came pre seasoned ready to rinse off, oil and and preheat. Drop in what your baking and it was smooth non stick. Perfect browning on breads! Love it! Use canola oil to season as spray can oils leave a sticky residue. No soap, just rinse clean, dry good and oil again and heat up to allow oil to set and make it non stick. Never store wet or damp. Love the size. It is a bit larger then a standard muffin pan for the cups.

My very first kitchen purchase for my first apartment was a Lodge skillet. We continue the tradition and this mini cake pan is perfect for English muffins, portion-sized individul cornbread, whatever you want to bake in small sizes.The handles are ideal gripping points. Remember, cast iron is dense. These handles will go a long way in preventing burns an spills.Also, food will stick if you don't grease before baking and be careful to dry in the oven to prevent rusting.

Great quality!
I’ve been searching for a cast iron mini pancake pan without any nonstick coating. Although this one is not recommended for use on stove top but it worked great on my gas stove. I created my own version of peanut butter brown rice pancake and warmed my leftover rice on one of the cup. It turned out great! Pancakes didn’t stick. Rice a little bit. It’s very easy to wash as well. I love it and looking forward to cooking with it trying new recipes.

Very useful cast iron pan.
I am using this pan to make biscuits and they come out perfectly every time. Will recommend this cast iron pan to all my friends that make biscuits and small cakes.

Perfect small cakes. Nice quality.
I prefer these over regular muffin shape. More area to be browned. Much better than my silicone ones.
