This shave cream is losing stars because it annoys me.It smells like Noxzema. It feels like Noxzema.If you're unfamiliar with Noxzema it's a face cream/cleaner that smells like a chemical version of mint and feels tingly on your skin. Well, my skin at least. I don't know what your epidermas feels.Tingly shave cream might be nice on the face, but that's not where I use it. So there's that.Secondly, this cream is thick. Also sounds great in theory. In practice, it doesn't smooth onto my skin very easily. It just squishes up between my fingers causing me to use more product than truly necessary.I bought this not realizing it was a different product from DSC's shave butter.The shave butter gets 5 stars. That stuff is legit. It's thick enough to be effective as a shaving cream but thin and smoothing enough to cover areas quickly and effectively. A container of this lasts so much longerI gave the "shave cream" to the trash bin and replaced it with shave butter 😁
