It's literally a wax. The definition of the product is that it leaves a residue. These people who say "no," don't understand physics or chemistry.

Does this product provide any UV protection?

I don't believe Plexus has UV protectant, but 303 makes a product that provides UV protectant without any cleaner...just protection.

Do the instructions say to clean the surface before using this? Im cleaning vinyl porch curtains that have pollin on them.

However, it is designed for motorcycle parts and accessories, not for cleaning the pollen off of vinyl curtains. We cannot guarantee that it will not cause damage to them, or properly clean them.

Can this remove minimal scratches on car tint film?

I read before buying this could fix small scratches in tint, but it does not. Purchased and tried on my car tinted window and it did nothing. Save your $$.
