Simple CD Player with Perks
If you are looking for a simple and easy to use personal CD player that doesn't require to be hooked up to a speaker, you found it. This has a belt-in speaker and best part is it is chargeable. No need to have a supply of batteries ready to use for your CD player. You can still "play" while you are charging if you run out of battery life while in the middle of a good book on CD. But I have to say, the battery life is amazing, and I almost go through a whole book before I run out of battery charge. We picked up this cd player so we can play our books on CD while on a road trip...since car standards don't include a CD player. It has a port for the Audio Aux Cable which plugs right into your car and now you have sound throughout your car as I love doing in my car. However, my husbands car is a newer model and doesn't have the Audio Aux Cable port, instead it uses only bluetooth devices. The only downside to this CD player, it doesn't have bluetooth capability. The speakers have a good range of volume, however in a car with the road noise, it's not loud enough if you are listening to a book on CD that has various voice volumes. The other use I have for my CD Player is while I'm gardening or working outside. I love that it travels and that I can take it with me anywhere and I don't have to use headphones to listen.Overall for my needs, it's great and the price is very reasonable.

Clear audio in all formats
I am impressed the included headphones permit selection of music without depressing the buttons on the unit. (Not just normal headphones.) Headphones are ear buds. Fit my ear fine... but I will not be running with these in my ear. The buttons on the unit are backlit, which was a surprise to me. My old player would turn on while in my gym bag. This player has a switch on the side that will lockout button depresses and thus, not turn the unit on. For the price point, this is a great player! The player will play a CD 1 thru 5 times faster. The clarity of the music/words is not choppy when playing at high speed. On many CD players, fast forwarding will result with a skipping sound... and a loss of dialog. This unit is simply plays the music faster. Great for books on CD. Have not tried the card reader. MP3 and regular disk work well.

Better than my original CD Player
If this product was released in the '90's, I would've given 10/5 stars because I always hated when the batteries on it died. It's absolutely NOT the case with this portable CD player. Not only is it rechargeable, you can use it while it's charging. The CD player lasts a long time in between charges. I noticed that when you listen to a CD through the end, the CD player will shut off by itself, even if you leave the switch to the "On" position, it will not drain the battery. However, if you "Pause" a track, the CD player will stay on and won't shut off by itself. When I first held this CD player, I was impressed with how sturdy it felt. Since it's mostly plastic, I thought that it would be feel light and cheap. One of my favorite features is the speaker. I have it on my desk and will play music through the speaker. I was impressed that you can use the equalizer to adjust the sound even when using the speaker. The speaker is fairly loud. If you use your own headphones, the sound is really good.If you don't want to keep switching out CD's, you can download music to a micro SD card, and this player will be able to play it because it has a micro SD slot. I've loaded MP3 and WMA formats to a micro SD card and they both play fine. Since the display is LCD, you can't jump in between folders, like on your phone or an MP3 player.Since we're no longer in the '90's and most devices have Bluetooth, this one doesn't support it, which is why I knocked off a star. There would be times when I would like to use a Bluetooth headset, but I can't with this device. The lack of Bluetooth technology, though, isn't a show stopper for me.

Good sound for its size
I love this small CD player. It's slightly larger than an actual CD. I have it on the kitchen counter and it doesn't take up space. You also just charge the battery. No need to plug it in so you can play it anywhere. It also has a pretty good sound for its size. I am ordering two more. One for our bedroom and one for our car.

Good CD/TF player - Overheating after 3rd day
This CD/TF player is pretty neat, easy to operate and decent sound coming out of built in speakers. I received this player for about 6 days. Day 1 just set it up played a bit for about 30 min. and nothing happened. Day 2, busy so did not touch it. On day 3, played it for about one hour in the evening through the TF card, it felt a bit too warm to the touch, I thought it a bit unusual for a player less than a week old to get so warm so I turned it off to let it cool down. Next day I tried to play it again and keen an eye out for the temperature, believe it or not... After an hour or so playing it through the TF card, the player now getting warmer than the day before, all tracks played fine, no skipping. Start, stop works fine but just too hot to touch at bottom of this unit. I've portable CD, DVD player before from other brands and it lasted for years without the overheating issue like this unit.Anyway rather than taking a risk of cannot return after 30 days... I've decided to return this player and buy another player with this same brand. Keep my fingers crossed, hopefully I will have better luck with the 2nd unit.

Does the job!
Use it in my car due to newer ones not coming with a CD player so I play my discs on this. Its easy to use and the speaker on it is pretty decent for the price and size. Easily mobile for use anywhere.
