Very thin metal. Nice features but no durability. Will bend and ultimately break. Buy the one from Superior Threads. Much better.

It is very sturdy and a great value!

I bought this stand because it is the same as the one that came with my industrial machine, except that it has three spool holders instead of two. But with the addition of the 3rd spool holder, the bar that holds the thread has become flimsy. They should have made that bar out of a sturdier and thicker metal. The thread spools wobble and tilt to the side. I'm not sure how long this stand will last. I might need to replace it again

I purchased this thinking that it would fit into the hole of my industrial machines top, pre made hole. The pole was to small. I could not use the pole, so I took parts off to use on my existing pole. The metal booms are a very thin metal and are quite flimsy, way to easy to bend. The holes for the thread for the top boom I had to clean out because they were closed shut. The holes in the articulating arm were not very well finished out. I had to pull out my dremal tool and work on it to keep the tread from snagging on the burrs. Product could bennifit by having heavier guage metal post and booms. They need to improve their finished product and do a better job of product QC.I repurposed the pole on a smaller portable machine. The flange at the bottom does not expand out very much. I had to go to Ace Hardware and find a large washer that would work so it would provide proper support on the surface to properly spread the load so I could properly tighten the pole so it would not sway and wobble. It would of been nice if they had provided 2 washers and 2 nuts for mounting.I found the pole connection pretty janky. why this could not be done by using a sleeve method or threaded together would of been a lot easier to assemble and probably more sturdy. I will eventually improve this, that is if the holds up. This too could be improved with a heavier gouge metal.Pole height for my industrial machine I found to be a bit low. It was 6" shorter than original pole, I was fortunate enough to be able to part it out to make it work on my existing pole.Strongly suggest if you are looking at this for an Industrial Machine, Keep looking and spend a few more $ for one with better quality.Strong suggestion: provide more specifications. Pole diameter, Pole height. What gauge metal is being used. I was tricked in to believing that this was for an Industrial machine. I would put this down for home use.All in all, I used it but definitely not as packaged.

For industrial use this is no good if you're using a large quantity of thread has the bar that holds up the thread Bend by side it's not strong enough

Wasn't sure how to connect without instructions. Wanted a 3 spool thread holder. Just a little wobbly
