Coghlans 0057 Bug Jacket Med, Multi, One Size

I wrote a review under the pants. I love these because they work, they are loose, and they fit over whatever I am wearing. My garden is a jungle and they have not "pulled", but I don't wear them every day. They seem pretty sturdy.

It only works if you leave enough room between your skin and the jacket. It can get pretty warm even though it is a net but wearing a loosely fitted shirt under the jacket will give you better protection.

This jacket is effective against mosquito bites. It is itchy on the skin but it's better than bug stings!I would suggest long sleeved shirts under it.

The mosquitoes have been vicious this summer. I wanted to get my gardening done and tried this. Not a single bite!! It was in the high 80s and no breeze so it was hot. But I didn't feel that this jacket added to the heat.

It is light but doesn't snag much I have another bug jacket and it snags everywhere. I wear it every day, everywhere, the mosquitoes and deer flies are bad right now, and it is such a huge comfort to walk on our dirt road and hear the mosquitoes and deer flies buzz around my head but they can't get to me. It even fits on top of my bicycle helmet so I don't get bothered while cycling, I cycle with my dog beside me so don't go fast. My dog ripped a couple of holes in it, I sewed them and it's all good.

I find this jacket great, you can leave the hood up or down. I put it on and can work around my yard with no bug bites! That’s a bonus!

My wife purchased a different brand last year, which obviously didn't last long. This jacket works amazing for her. The material is much more durable, and keeps out even noseeums. Would recommend!

This really works, but you have to wear it properly. The mesh needs to be kept away from skin, mosquitoes can't fly through but their needles can poke through!Wear a hat with a good size brim to keep space around the head and neck. Shoulders and elbows are good places to add extra padding. And use those pull strings, you don't want mosquitoes flying around inside of the jacket ;-)The material breathes well, I do yard work with it on and don't notice extra heat. It probably would tear if caught on stuff so I wouldn't recommended hiking through the woods with it.
