Will this be good for an 11 yr old who likes 11 and up things?

I purchased this for my 10, going on 11 year old granddaughter. She has made some very creative items . . charms for jewelrey, nintendo's mario & luigi, etc. It could be for most any age really, but I'd recommend purchasing some sculpting tools also. You need them to create specific details. Hope this helps.

No not really, it has a very mild smell similar to modeling clay. But i have never seen it in a particular scent...so no..not scented.

Once I cure it in the oven, how hard is the finished product? Can I use the finished item in a sand casting mold? (I will need to tap w/ a hammer)

Since using polymer clay for beads primarily to use for unique jewelry(nothing fancy, but fun), I've seen so many DIY and tutorials to give you this: Bake longer than 15 minutes, I always do about 30 on 275. If you want it as is, just let it cool and then back in for about 10 minutes, even once more after that. I sandish and polish them so I go through different phases. It's annoying, but the longer and with care, you bake it, the stronger it gets. The sanding and constant polishing(looks like glass almost then I add a glaze and it REALLY looks like glass), its condensing the clay more and more, but never crumbles. The only time it breaks is if I"m tired and careless when drilling holes or carving

How many small, palm sized "worry stones" do you think I could get out of one of these multi packs?

There's 30 small squares in the box each like 2 inches long and 1 inch wide iv never heard of worry stones but if there those small pebble looking rocks probably like 60.
