Used to test customer use temperature on high temp product.

This product should turn grey when the correct temperature is reached, as you can see from the photo's it tuns into black crud. I initially thought that this was due to the temperature being too low, so I turned the heat up until the flame annealer made the neck and shoulder of the cartridge bright red. After doing some forum readings, it seems this is a common problem if the product is either more that 1 year old, or has been stored incorrectly.

Worked perfect
This made the annealing process very simple. I paint the shell from the top of the body down about 1/2 an inch and can tell when I’m at the correct setting. A bottle should last a long long time if using for annealing.
