Very nice monitor for day to day general use
I bought the BenQ 23" VZ2350HM IPS panel along with another BenQ 27" GW2760HS VA panel monitor for a dual setup. Picture is attached. On the left side is the BenQ VZ2350HM that is being reviewed here. As you can see, the colors are clean, the monitor is bright and it looks good. I do care about the colors being correct, but Im not a professional who needs perfection in RGB. But in all the tests I did, the factory settings seem to be able to cleanly handle all my needs. Came with a HDMI and power cable. Works out of the box. No dead pixels. All good. The monitor is VESA capable, it can be mounted cleanly on a wall and the monitor looks very sturdy when mounted, unlike a LG that I had before this. The only thing I did not like is that fact that the monitor is not thin as per the current standards. The bulge in the back is exactly the same as my 27" monitor next to it, so it feels heavy and bulky. One of the reasons for this is that it does not come with a external power adaptor and the power cable plugs directly into the monitor, so the power supply in inbuilt into the frame. All in all, Im happy with the monitor. No regrets and no complaints because the price is way lesser than the competition and at this price, its proper value for money.P.S : When you get a new monitor, go to google and search for "Dead pixel detect". Make sure all the colors show in pristine fashion with no offending dots anywhere in the screen.

Probably the best monitor in 11-12k range. Quality is top notch.
I like that the monitor has matt finish. Doesn't show reflections and glares. My graphic designer colleague recommended this to me. Have been using it rigorously for over a year and not disappointed. HDMI input works flawlessly. Controls are easy to use. I wish it had height adjustment feature as well.

Please helpI did not have a Lightning to HDMI wire for my macbook air - so i could not try the product. and now return period is expired and i am stuck with the product. This is not fair. Also once the screen starts it immediately goes off in 3 seconds.

Beautiful display, sharp images and videos
Beautiful display, sharp images and videos. Plus point it got speakers. The speakers do not deliver same output as my creative system but it is good for watching movies and games. It has hdmi, old blue pin connector having screws, and 3.5 mm audio jack. There are other ports which I don't recognise.

Okay for most people, but not recommended for Professional Users
If you're someone who's looking to get a cheap IPS display that might hopefully be color and grayscale accurate, then I'd advise against it. But since factory calibrated panels for professional use cost way more, like me you may not have much choice. But without proper hardware calibration assessment, I'll always be in doubt of its accuracy.Pros:1. The panel is bright and quite evenly lit, though IPS glow when viewed at an angle is to be expected.2. Sturdy build.3. Gamma seems to be close to 2.2 for all channels.4. For me, the response time is non issue.5. The static contrast ratio of 1:1000 does seem to hold true.Cons:1. Color balance is off. After many attempts using software calibration techniques, I've settled at an RGB of 50/45/51, Contrast of 45 and full brightness. The main issue is with its grayscale reproduction. Different gray values have either a yellow, blueish or even a magenta tint to them. The above combination of OSD settings have given me the best result so far.2. Speakers at the back should be used as a last resort. Their volume is low and sound tinny. As for its white temperature value, I have no clue how much it actually deviates from the 6500K reference.
