KLEVV CRAS C910 1TB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe Gen4x4 Laptop & Desktop Internal SSD Heatsink Included, up to 5000MB/s (K01TBM2SP0-C91)

I thought I was taking a gamble on this due to the price, but I'm completely satisfied with this NVMe. Performance is great, have had no issues so far and because of this I've bought a 3rd one that I've yet to test. (Will update if any issues with 3rd drive or the other 2 down the road). It hasn't been long since they've been in use, but so far it's above my expectations.

Great SSD for its price easy to install and has the advertised speeds and capacity

The media could not be loaded. Very solid budget SSD. I purchased it before and decided to purchase it again because I was surprised by how well it held up even after 2 years of lifespan usage. This thing outperforms the Crucial P3 plus and Kingston NV3's which were my other purchase options. Thanks to using nand and photon pcie controllers it has a post cache (TLDR: ALL SSDS SLOW DOWN FROM THEIR TOP SPEED AFTER SOME POINT, FOR EXAMPLE CRUCIAL P3 PLUS GOES DOWN TO 100-130 MBPS AND STAYS THERE) of 800-1200 mbps download and 7000 mbps read which shocked me. Performance on this thing is no joke either, I use fiber internet and this thing did NOT disappoint in terms of download speeds. I was able to install COD (240gb) in 12 minutes shockingly. Once purchased it will need to be reformatted but asides from that it for capacity to cost its perfect. Like I said earlier I've owned the 1 terabyte version for 3 years and decided to repurchase and the lifespan on the older one isn't a lick different from the one I just purchased. This thing holds up pretty well. A major caveat too look out for is drive quality and its LACK OF SCREWS. The first time I purchased this irritated me as I had to get a seperate screw set but if you already have screws/offsets on stand by this is perfect for you. 1 terabytes supreme performance for a whopping $57 that won't disappoint. Beautiful cost to Capacity performance. Aluminum heatsink was also another nice welcomed addition. I'll say this again, plan accordingly as you will need screws and may need an offset if you have an elevated ssd slot which is where your ssd port extends upwards from your motherboard instead of being somewhat embedded into it (as seen in my second picture). Another thing I'd like to emphasize on is the importance of formatting it once you get it. I was silly and tried to install a game on steam before formatting it and realized my entire PC didn't even recognize it as an existant ssd, there are videos on this but I'll save you time and explain it in a quick way. first step is Press Windows + X and select Disk Management. Then Find your new SSD, it'll say "Unallocated" then right click it, and choose "New Simple Volume".Then last but not least Follow the wizard popup, assign a drive letter, choose NTFS, and click Finish. You can then use the ssd for whatever you may please. (KEEP IN MIND TO DO THIS YOU MUST HAVE WINDOWS INSTALLED ON THE PC WHICH YOU MAY NEED TO DO WITH A USB THAT HAS A COPY OF WINDOWS ON IT IF YOU DON'T ALREADY HAVE WINDOWS ON THE PC).

This is my first time trying a KLEVV nvme drive. I felt pretty confident about the purchase because I knew the KLEVV is a subsidiary of SK Hynix. It's their consumer brand that hasn't gotten a lot of attention yet. But rest assured the components are made by one of the largest memory manufacturers on the planet. Now on this particular drive... Is it the fastest? No. But it's not slow. It's just an affordable yet relieble mid-range SSD. It also comes with an aluminum heat spreader if you need it, which I didn't since I installed it with my mother board's built in heatsink. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the price and performance of this drive. If youre on a budget as I was, I'd choose this over other drives in its price range. If anything changes with this drive I'll be sure to update my review.

Little slow, but works well

Excellent build quality and extremely fast. Microsoft Direct Storage working and paired with a 9950X3D, so the performance is incredible. Plug and play and plenty of storage. Buy it!

Consistently one of the cheapest drives and works flawlessly. Klev is a lesser talked about brand, but anyone who does their research or has built before knows they have great drives and ram at the price they sell. The optional heatsink is one of the best parts of this drive, since many motherboards come with a heatsink, the one that comes with the drive isn’t always needed.
