Bad choice. I've used 4 different variable-temp kettles over the last 20 years, but none this poorly made. It stopped heating after one week. The electronics kept working, but nothing happened in the pot. I returned it for a refund. No more Willow & Everett.

Excellent Electric Kettle! Will boil water to the exact temperature you select and then even keep it hot, for awhile and automatically shut itself off too! Perfect for making tea and coffee!

Awesome! Even makes tea taste better! Love that it keeps Warner warm for 2 hours and shuts off automatically! After 2 months the unit has started leaking from the glass window and from the bottom. Loved this product but can no longer use it.

This kettle is well made. The screen is clear and bright, the buttons are responsive, and the kettle itself feels sturdy and well put together. Quick testing with a thermometer showed that the kettle is accurate to within +/- 2 degrees F of the set temperature, and doesn't overshoot the set temperature while heating like some other programmable kettles do.One issue, however, is the lid design. The push-button release is convenient when it works, but unfortunately it more often than not fails to release the lid, requiring some manual levering to get it to open. This is really the only objective issue I've found.Now to some limitations (depending on your use case) in the design. The "brains" of the kettle are located in the handle, while the power comes from the base. There's no battery or other form of memory in the handle, so once you lift the kettle off the base, everything resets, including the keep warm function. Potentially accentuating this is the fact that the kettle's beeping is reset each time as well. All in all this may not be an issue if your main use case is just heating up a quantity of water and then using all of it at once. If you are planning to use this for single-serve loose leaf tea brewing or any other case where you'll be dispensing hot water multiple times, you'll have to redo the settings each time you pour, and the kettle will beep each time.All in all it's a kettle that does everything it's designed to do (except open the lid at times), and may or may not have some inconveniences bundled into the design depending on what you're using it to do.

While I absolutely loved this kettle. After a year and a half it stopped working.

This kettle was a piece of junk. I bought it for my son to use in his dorm room. He told me it worked for 3 days, then it stopped heating water at all. He returned it for a refund. My advice ... buy a different kettle.BTW, Amazon was excellent about the return and refund. It's a pain to make return arrangements for anything. However, Amazon lessened the pain.

Best electric kettle I have ever had! If you need variable temperature settings (e.g. a lower temperature for brewing green or white teas), this is the pot for you. I use it every day. Great quality and price.

At first I loved it, but after a few months I noticed water pooling around the base. Turns out the clear window portions are poorly sealed and they constantly leak water! Kind of dangerous on an appliance that has to be near an outlet at all times. So disappointed.
