Great way to learn coding
This system is a really cute and easy way to learn coding. I purchased it originally to learn about RFID but I ended up learning so much more. I had to go to google to find more detailed instructions for a couple of the sketches but overall it’s a great way to learn. After I got started I had my 23 year old son as well as my 13 & 15 year old daughters learn it too. I recommend for anyone who is looking for an easy understanding to start learning coding.

Great kit for the price
The media could not be loaded. This is an excellent kit for learning basic electronics and coding. The tutorial provides many small projects to try with detailed instructions. This kit is packed with different sensors for a handful of projects. This was a great purchase. I love it!

So fun!
Oh my goodness- I love this set! I am learning coding (python) and this is just such a fun way to do it. It comes with everything you need (just download some software then you can plug & play in your computer), and you download the codes & instructions from the included links. After you pick a project and set everything up on the breadboard (fairly straightforward instructions and schematics) you copy/paste the code and voila! It just works! Then the fun part is tinkering with the code, modifying things so that it behaves just a little bit differently. I do this with my son (10 years old) and we've been able to make a few really simple games with the LED lights & buzzers, program it to print out silly things to the little LCD screen, make an alarm from the motion sensor etc. It's pretty neat- would definitely recommend.

Suitable for Dummies
I have been interested in electronics as a hobby for many years, but have never had the time or patience to get started. When I saw this kit I decided to take the plunge as it was both relatively inexpensive, and contained some basic but interesting projects. Is it truly for beginners? Yes, but read the manual before you start, or like me, you’ll potentially overlook a key difference between the Pico & Pico W that will catch you out. Technical support pointed out my stupidity, in a nice way :)The documentation is extremely useful, but I would suggest also looking for some online video tutorials, there are hundreds out there, and it’s relatively easy to find one for each of the included projects. All in all this is a fun little kit, that will inspire you to try to take each project further.

Great price, questionable quality
Price is great. I am a beginner, so you know.. I haven't tested anything yet. Visual inspection, you know... the price point is great.. box came a little damaged, who cares. Most of the components came in baggies, nice. Some of the components are dirty with fingerprints and stuff, like on the wifi shiny on the pico. I was super excited about the breadboard power supply, but as you can see, the 5v deal doesn't look soldered properly. It seems to be in good contact, it won't budge, but I haven't powered anything up. The documentation is minimal and I'm not sure If those stickers are weird... the numbers don't make sense. But, I was able to find the downloads and everything very easily and the documents are kind of confusing there too, but after a while of poking around I figured it out. All in all, it's pretty cool I hope all the stuff works, cuz I don't care if it looks weird as long as it works.
