These are absolutely beautiful grips. They are brown, but with a red tinge to them. If you're used to auto grips including Glocks, when you first take the grip out of the box, it will feel rather large to you. Of course, if you're only upgrading your GP100, you already know how the grip shape feels. I actually happened to receive the grips from Amazon and buy my GP100 the same day. True, there is a space. But, as someone who doesn't have the money to buy $1000 S&W's with perfect features, I can say that I really couldn't care less about the space. It's so inconspicuous that someone who isn't a revolver aficionado wouldn't even realize there's a problem. In my opinion, THERE ISN'T.

I was delighted with the rosewood laminate grips I purchased for my Ruger New Model Blackhawk 357 . I received so many complements on them that I purchased the one piece rosewood laminate for my Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan 454 . Both fit perfectly without any modifications . I'm not a gunsmith . I'm just a old guy with arthritis fingers and couple screwdrivers . A mere child could have done the same easily . Comfortable feeling and exquisite fitness . You don't get any better than that .

Beautiful grip

I understand the color will vary but mine arrived bright pink. Not red, but Hello Kitty pink. The fit and finish was fine but it had to go back.

I like it so far. It feels snug and strong. Though when I unboxed it, it was more pink-ish than I expected, but the pamphlet in the packaging states that over time it’ll take on a more “satin” finish. I’ll have to post an update later on. In the right light it looks gorgeous. I just hope later on that’s what it’ll look like in broad daylight.

These grips fit the Ruger GP100 very poorly. There are large gaps between the grips and the back of the trigger guard and between the grips and the frame under the hammer. I talked with the manufacturer and sent them pictures...which they said showed the grips to be within manufacturing tolerances and were necessary to prevent cracks in the wood from the extreme pressures of the 357 mag. This ain't my first firearm with wood grips. Look at any gun counter...you simply won't see anything like this on a firearm furnished with factory wood grips. I've showed the pictures to several gun shop people and each one identified these as being made by this manufacturer without me having told them what they were. Needless to say I returned the grips and reinstalled the Hogue rubber grips that came with the gun...not real pretty but they fit. Don't waste your time and money with these.

This grip is better than expected. I have large hands that didn't fit the factory grip very well, and this grip fixed that problem. It is a very bulky grip and may not be appropriate for a smaller hand, so consider that. Breeze to install!

The grips absolutely improved the appearance of my Alaskan over the rubber stock ones. I was a bit apprehensive of the recoil of full magnum loads , but was very impressed with the control ability. NICE ADDITION TO ANY RUGER AND PRICED MORE THAN FAIR.
