Not The Solution I hoped For.
Arrived, very well packaged and protected. But it was damaged, one wire was separated , and impossible to fix it. Amazon refunded me no problem. I did watch the DVD which comes with the battery, it makes it look straightforward and easy. It is not. If your Garmin is still working as mine is, but perhaps does not have a long battery life as it did , I would suggest leave alone! If your Garmin has died, then you have nothing to lose , apart from nearly forty pounds for this battery.
