 The KittenBot robot is a thorough kit that comes with a ton of accessories and add-ons, you can really build a lot with this. I would recommend this as a great buy for anyone from a wannabe programmer to an experienced coder.

Excellent Customer Service. Solid Unit. Instuctions need a bit of work, manual has a few errors, especially the wirering diagram, which was not bad and part of the leaning process. Fun and Education. Worked as claimed. She added large google eyes for her own personal touch.

We purchased this to get our daughter coding and understanding real robotics. Spent hours trying to follow the youtube videos and to get the app to work with the bot. Tried the steps over and over, things seemed to be right, but the bot never worked with the app. Reached out to the company who states the app does not work with the bot. Did get the kittenblock to operate and connect with it, but the lack of example programs and the unit actually able to do anything without trial and error programming is frustrating,. If the company could offer a preloaded program or something that would get it to work immediately my daughter would have been more interested in it. Expected much more for what we paid. Hardware is cool, but lack of software examples, an app that works, or some beginner tutorials are needed to really warrant a higher rating. Would not recommend this to other buyers.

Works great. It was fun putting together(with 12yr old son). We have noticed a couple of times, if he runs it for awhile, it won't react to controller and keep moving forward. Just shut it off and turn it back on.

My 12 year old son wish to be a robotics engineer and put this together pretty quickly! Yet it was a bit challenging.

This was a Christmas present for my 13yr old daughter. She has loved building the 2 robot forms and figuring out how to program it.

I received this as a present for Christmas. The mechanical design is quite good and the assembly instruction, while they will require some interpretation, are quite usable.However, there is a major software issue with this device:1) the IOS app will not drive the device as delivered- the wifi adapter will not communicate with the mother board- it appears there are issues with the motherboard software2) the mother board appears to require a software install which is not documented- i can using kittenblock 1.6.1 activate all the components, but it is not feasible to drive the kittenblock with the software as delivered3) tech support is incomplete and very slow- facebook message has been outstanding for 21 days now- Kittenbot BBs messages are days to weeks old with typically no response to questions- email to kittenbot tech support does not yield responsesUnless you are able to handle the motherboard software without assistance, this is unlikely to be a user friendly systems
