Used these at a music festival and they attached to our chairs with no problem. Took a bit of getting used to the stiffness when angling them but they stayed in position, giving us much needed shade.

These are quite expensive but they are really well made. They are advertised as for Panthem products but will pretty much fit any chair or surface that can be clamped. You get what you pay for and £25 each seems really good value for what you get here.
