Sharp QT-CD290(RD) Portable CD MP3 Cassette Boombox with AM/FM Stereo and Aux Input, Red

11/15/24-Right now I am a bit anxious. Myf reind brought this item from a different retail. Same item but Amazon's price was 5.00 less and since I use them so often Ithought I would order a couple for Xmas gifts. ta coule days went by and I tried to check on the ordered via bot/automation. Strange, the picture of the items usually come up as pictured in your order but only one show when if checked. the other swas something else musical stereo system. Luckily though wheni got my order the net day 11/15/24 both my red SharpQT cd/cassette and the black one arrived. The sound is much greater than expected! the only issue is the writing on the vunction buttons very tiny. Other than I ended up keeping the red one and listened to CSDs I hadn't heard in years becaue my old set "died" . Its a nice piece to have say in your kitchen when just want to hear the news(radio) or some jazz. For the very reasnable price it's a great item!!!

This is a great little portable stereo unit. Plays all mediums great but I found that CD's sound the best. Enough sound to make you happy unless you what to crank it up. There are bigger and more powerful boom boxes out there to crank up, but they run about $150. So, if you are looking for easy sound in outdoor settings you can't do better at the price. What really stood out about this Sharp unit is how cool looking it is. I got the red version, and it just shines like it was a new paint job on a car. The LED readout is a real plus. Attractive and well built, I recommend it highly.

This product was purchased for outdoor use (Compact and the perfect size for our needs). What was most surprising was the consistent crisp and clear sound!

Performs well, but when playing CDs the audio drops out for a split second between tracks, so that if numerous tracks make up one song, you’ll hear the track breaks as dropouts. Otherwise, pretty good.

The cord for electricity doesn't fit....Wrong cord was sent!!! unable to use!!! Please send a compatable cord or a replacement for the entire order…. I will return the original upon receipt of the replacement. Thank you!!!

Very compact & I like the color. I used it in the kitchen. While cooking I play my cd.

The media could not be loaded. We bought this, basically for listening to our old cassette tapes n the CD player and it works awesome. I had tried other stereos, and the sound for the tapes were horrible but this Sharp Stereo Plays them just like they sound! It doesn’t have a lot of extras on it but we didn’t need that so if you’re looking for a great product that actually does what it’s supposed to and the sound is phenomenal this is what you want to buy!
