Heye 29615 Jigsaw Puzzle, Brown and Black

This was a great "Covid-19" sheltering project. It took 3 or 4 weeks but ended up being fun with help from a few friends who we had in our quarantine pod. It fits our dining room wall perfectly! It does come in 4 bags of each quadrant, so it's like doing Four 1,500 piece puzzles I stead of one 6,000 pieces, which would be daunting. I Watched some YouTube videos on mounting large jigsaw puzzles. I used some lustre (instead of matte) puzzle glue and mounted it onto poster board (which was a project in itself). And because it wasn't lying flat enough once all the glue dried, we ended up having to drill it directly into the wall. It's huge! (About 8' long I think and almost 3' tall) I think it turned out okay, though! If you read other reviews on this puzzle, there were some complaints about center line being half a millimeter off when you joined the puzzles down the center line, honestly I can't even tell what anyone is talking about. Or maybe they fixed it? If it's there, it's very minor. Challenging but not impossible, and i think the artwork is really beautiful. Would look good in a library or map room.

I intended on gluing this puzzle and putting it on our wall. And I possibly still will, but there are pieces where you can see Where it was cut the outside edge of every single bag does not fit together down the center and we bag a and B down the edge does not fit together. They stick out. When they were cut, it just could not go together properly so I guess that’s the quality quality of this puzzle is terribleIt’s still beautiful. I took a Dremel and tried to go around the edges to fit it better and now I have to take some paint to touch up where it took the color off.. The price of this puzzle, you should not have to do very disappointed

Came bagged in lots of 1500, 4 bags, so assembly can be done in sections. Mounted on black foam board from Hob Lob with gorilla glue, used clear glue sheets to protect the front. Great addition to our map room.

The puzzle took MONTHS to complete.. and at the end I have these 2 pieces that are clearly cut from a different puzzle that was slightly offset than this one.. I wrote the company and they replied that returns/exchanges have to be within 30 days. Im sorry.. this was 6,000 pieces.. 30 days???many of the tips of the pieces pealed up and some have even torn off.. but im not complaining about that, just added for your quality reference, the puzzle itself was fun, some areas are very challenging.. but being the first Heye puzzle I have owned.. it will also be my last due to the customer service and quality control.

I love this puzzle. The pieces fit together well and the picture is clear. I like that the map is current, but done in the old-world style.TIP FOR COMPLETING: The puzzle came with the pieces divided up in four different bags. We discovered that each bag is in fact one fourth of the puzzle, going from left to right. There is an extra chunk of puzzle that you can find in the bags labeled A, B, C, and D. If you only open one bag at a time, it's like doing four 1500 piece puzzles instead of one 6000 piece puzzle. That was awesome for me to be able to get it done a lot faster. If you want the challenge of all 6000 pieces at once, go ahead and mix all the bags together. :)

So much fun: way too expensive. Kazakhstan is missing the piece with the N... I would do it again- well... a 6000 piece puzzle. Not the same one...

I purchased this as a bd gift to my daughter. She loves it, and can’t walk away from it. A high quality puzzle

I love this puzzle. One problem is that the middle of the puzzle is offset so it doent line up exactly. All the pieces fit but that midline is just off.
