It plugs in, lights up, and works. I did not find it overheating at all, the brick remained normal temp. The cable material doesn’t seem brittle at all and I was concerned wrapping it up and putting it in a back. The length is good. Overall a good replacement or second cable.

Absolutely TERRIBLE design for a charger.Whoever manufacturers these chargers did not do enough forward thinking because why would anyone think it to be a good idea to secure the main wiring that goes to the block by a single piece of thin rubber in an L-SHAPE on the OUTSIDE of the power supply instead of hardwiring it into the block itself?Any small tug or gentle wiggle will dislodge the rubber that fits into this groove thus pulling the wiring right out of the block rendering the entire charger inoperable.Because of the space this creates between the wire and the block dust and debris can VERY easily enter into the block causing a definite fire hazard (which judging by the other reviewers is the reason why this power supply overheats and melts its internals from the inside)I believe this charger was meant to always sit directly beside your laptop because you have a right angle (the port that fits into your computer) that meets another right angle (the wiring that fits into the power block) so if the wire would twist in any way from these two opposing directions, it would definitely dislodge the thin rubber in charge of keeping the internal wires in place.You can clearly see the white wire slowly being exposed in the photos.If you carry this charger in a backpack or have your laptop on a desk or table with the charger on the floor I can guarantee that within minutes of unpackaging this will happen to you as well.Definitely will be returning this.

I bought this charger so I could have one at home and one of the road in my semi. It got hot and now it works sometimes. I won't be home in time for refund. I don't know if I just ended up with a defective unit. Just sucks i won't be able to get a replacement during return window

Works great with Asus TUF 16.Doesn't complain about not being an OEM charger or give you any nonsense. No over/under voltage notice from the laptop (I did not pullout out a meter). It even has the new ASUS logo from their gaming lines on the transformer. It also charged an even older (unknown model #) Asus laptop I had in the closet. That one was designed for 19.5V, not 20, but that's close enough. That laptop also gave no complaints.
