Oven Light Bulb 40 Watt, G45 Clear - High Temp 120V 415 Lumens E26 Standard Base, Appliance Light Bulb for Stove Refrigerator Microwave 4-Pack

The media could not be loaded. I have an older stove, "Hotpoint" brand (honestly never heard of them). Previous tenant left it behind and it was still in good working condition. Except no light! I didn't want to go to Home Depot just for 1 bulb so I searched on here. No way to compare the actual size so I went off the description. These were: standard base, high temp, "appliance" stove refrigerator microwave. I was so pissed when I received my order because the size was clearly not the same, big difference actually. I decided to put it on anyway. Surprise surprise, it fits! I even used the oven several times already at 350° and it's holding up. Since it was a 4 pack of bulbs, crossing my fingers it'll fit my refrigerator and microwave when the time comes. My only only complaint, light is more yellow than white. Not a deal breaker.

These light bulbs are bright & give sufficient light inside my Oven.

the glass is EXTREMELY thin and fragile. I broke the first one when I reinstalled the bulb cover. They are even more fragile than the old ordinary incandescent bulbs. Just be aware of that and the fragments are tiny and SHARP... I had to shut the stove down at the breaker box to remove the broken bulb. BUT it was my fault for assuming that this evidently light weight bulb was the same composition as in the 'old days'. It works and it is bright and that is all that matters I guess. Just be aware and be very careful replacing the cover, be SURE to do that because this bulb uncovered could shatter at the slightest bump and destroy your food. I think I will remove it before I use the self clean feature on my stove too, just to be safe.

Working well in my fridgidaire range oven it’s about 12 years old (not bulb the stove) fit perfectly

Next day shipping and I received the light bulbs well packed. I have only tested one of the bulbs but it works so that is all good. I would recommend this seller based on my experience.

This item is hard to find, went to many hardware stores (had some like it but not type I needed) Finally tried Amazand bingo they had what I needed. Pleased as now I can check oven without opening the door. Thank you
