Excellent light bulbs we had purchased others but they would burn out with the high heat.

These A15 40W appliance light bulbs are exactly what you want for high-heat applications. They installed easily with the standard E26 base and worked perfectly right out of the box in my oven and range hood. The brightness is just right—clear, warm white light that makes it easy to see without being harsh. What really impressed me is how well they handle high temperatures. Even with repeated oven use, they’ve held up without flickering or burning out. The build quality feels solid, and they seem much more durable than typical bulbs that struggle in these conditions. Honestly, I’m a little torn on these. The bulbs themselves worked fine initially, but I’m already on bulb number two because they keep blowing out. The problem is I genuinely can’t tell if it’s the bulbs themselves or if my oven is the issue, so I don’t want to fully blame the product unfairly. Installation was easy and they did fit/work correctly while they lasted, which is why I’m still giving 4 out of 5 stars. I just wish I had a better idea whether the lifespan issue is coming from the bulbs or my appliance.

I bought these for my range hood. What a deal! Walmart has them for 3.33 each.

I replaced the light bulb in our oven with one of these. Two days later, I noticed there was no light. After shutting off the power, I removed the bulb cover, and found that the light bulb had shattered, leaving the screw-in end still in place with no place to grab it safely. After removing the oven door to get better access, I was finally able to remove the rest of the bulb and clean up the broken glass. I replaced it with another one of these. It's only been a few days, but hopefully this one will be much better. I thought this was a good deal, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I needed a 40-watt, dimmable, incandescent, high temperature oven bulb to replace one that lasted two (2) weeks because it was not a high temperature bulb. I checked some bulbs in the hardware store, but most of the information on most brands were devoid of the above information. Therefore, I decided to check Amazon, and this brand provided the information that I required. If other companies would like to maintain customer loyalty, they should provide clear and detailed instructions on their products.
