I would recommend a size down. Im a 8 in jeans and small fits great

The petite has an inseam of 28"; the regular has an inseam of 31"; the tall has an inseam of 33".

I have the regular length and they fit me perfect. I usually wear a 32 inch inseam.

I'm sorry, I haven't experienced this issue. Quite the contrary, I had to go from an XL to a Large because the XL was unusually big and long on me, and I'm a tall woman (5'9"), and I usually wear XL or 2XL clothing.
