Fits factory fitting perfectly.

Perfect replacement for my 2008 F250 with the 5.4 engine.I've seen a few reviews complaining that the barb size was too small.While it is smaller the I.D. of the fitting is the same as the factory one.With the reduced O.D. it snugly fits in the rigid plastic fuel line.While yes you can heat the factory plastic fuel line and install the larger diameter (3/8) factory fitting in the tube, you can save yourself the aggravation and danger of heat and fuel and install this fitting.I did install a crimp fitting on the line, while it is tight in the line it still needs a mechanical lock of some sort.Something like thsee 2 items:Swpeet 120pcs crimp hose clamp.Pex crimping tool.Hose clamps I suppose would work but I personally wouldn't recommend them as the line is ridgid plastic with a rubber outer sleeve and hose clamps wouldn't have enough clamping force.Hope this review helps

Need to replace the spring and an o ring on the connector on my daughter's 2001 f150 with a 5.4. Parts stores couldn't find the right size o ring.I didn't use the entire part. Just the inner spring that helps lock the quick connector and the two o rings.For the price is was alot easier than trying to hunt down the parts I needed.Excellent quality part.

Smooth and well finished. Easily installed and securely locks in place. I am much more confident with this fitting than with the plastic fittings.

Purchased as an attachment to an on-rail pressurized fuel injector cleaning kit. The kit had many connectors but not this Ford/Jag style. Fits my '03 XK8 well.
